PURPOSE: To let one kind of connector cope with the various kinds of set-up environments by providing a moving plate in such a way as to be freely moved for an opening which is continuously formed in the front and side surfaces of a connector main body, for covering the opening, and also providing an information transfer cable which penetrates through the moving plate, and connected to a connecting pin.

CONSTITUTION: A band shaped moving plate 6 is provided for an opening 5 which is formed continuously in the rear and side surfaces of a connector main body 1 in such a way as to be freely moved, for covering the opening 5. An information transfer cable 2 is provided, which penetrates through the moving plate 6, and is connected to a connecting pin 3. When the cable 2 positioned at the right side is to be moved afterward, the operating section 12 of a stationary stem 11 projected out of the lower surface of the connector main body 1 is pushed upward first, the stationary pin 14 of the stationary stem 11 is pulled out of the stationary hole 10 of the moving plate 6, and the cable 2 is moved afterward together with the moving plate 6 which has been made free in movement. Next, the urging force of the operating section 12 is released, and the stationary pin 14 is inserted into the stationary hole 10 of the moving plate 6, so that the moving plate 6 is thereby fixed.
