PURPOSE: To provide the electric connector which enables lead wires to be laterally extracted, and also enables its height to be made low.

CONSTITUTION: A connector housing 1 is provided with a lead wire housing section 3, the lead wire housing section 2 is provided with terminal mounting hole sections 8, and each connector terminal 4 is so constituted that it includes switch terminal contact sections 15 with which a switch outer terminal comes in contact, and lead wire contact bonding sections 16 to which lead wires 20 are connected, and furthermore the axis hole of each aforesaid lead wire contact bonding section 16 is set to the direction normal to the aixs line A of each aforesaid switch terminal contact section 15. Each lead wire 20 is connected to the lead wire contact bonding sections 16, each connector terminal 4 is installed to the connector housing 1 with its switch terminal contact section 15 mounted to terminal mounting hole sections 8, and the lead wire contact bonding sections 16 and the lead wires 20 are then housed in the lead wire housing section 2.
