Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate construction, by a method wherein a marine concrete structure is divided into a plurality of blocks and the steel frame units for the blocks are constructed on land and a floating body is constructed with the frame units integrated together on the sea and concrete is case in a floating body.

CONSTITUTION: A marine concrete structure is divided into a plurality of blocks, and the steel frame units 1, 1'... for the blocks are constructed on land. Then, a plurality of the frame units 1, 1'... are floated on the sea, and side frames 2, 2' and a bottom plate 3 are welded together. And after seawater between partition walls 4, 4' is pushed out, concrete is cast between the partition walls 4, 4' as well as on the bottom plate 3 and along the side frame 2 up to draft line. And after forms 8 are set on the side frames 2 for a floating body 7, concrete is cast and cured in the forms 8 which is removed from the concrete.
