A content recording device 1 transmits waveform data of the broadcasting data which is received by a receiving part 11 and recorded in a content storage part 12 to a content information server 2, and acquires content information of the broadcasting data from the content information server 2. Since the part where acquired content information is changed (e.g. address, etc.) is determined as the part where the content is changed, the broadcasting data can be split into a plurality of contents by splitting the broadcasting data in the parts concerned.
