To provide continuous casting equipment, in which molten steel is stably supplied without the need for adjustment to reduce the opening area of a nozzle and to lengthen a mold from the start of casting.
Continuous casting equipment 1 is provided with a nozzle for controlling the pouring quantity, a mold 4, with which the molten steel from the nozzle 3 is received from the upper part and can be drawn out from the lower part as a cast slab, a dummy bar 9 inserted into the mold 4 from the lower part at the start of casting and connected with the cast slab, and drawing rolls 14 for drawing out the cast slab through the dummy bar 9 by changing the direction into the horizontal direction. A backet 8 connected with the tip part of the dummy bar 9 so as to start the molten metal is drawably arranged at the lower part of the mold 4.
