Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a vehicle to prevent a specified motion of the vehicle based on a predetermined action of a user from being mistakenly carried out.SOLUTION: When a user approaches a vehicle 1 to make a back door opening motion through a specific foot action, a user's entering to a second area is to be detected in a certain period of time after the user's entering to a first area is detected. Therefore, when a condition that the user's entering to the second area is detected in the certain period of time after the detection of user's entering to the first area is not met, it means a condition that the user's approach to the vehicle 1 has not happened. When said condition is not met, an electronic control apparatus 11 prevent a determination processing, which determines whether the specific foot action is carried out or not, from being performed. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the motion to open the back door 3 from been performed by mistake based on the wrong determination of the user's foot action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
