Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an attaching mechanism for a microwave range by decreasing the number of door switches in a control circuit for a cooking appliance.
SOLUTION: A control circuit for a cooking appliance comprises a power source 4, a control part 12 to which electric power is supplied from the power source 4, a load part 6 to which the electric power is supplied from the power source 4 and which is controlled by the control part 12, a relay contact 10a for switching a power line to the control part 12 and an interlock switch 5 located between the power source 4, and the load part 6 to interlock with the opening and closing: operation of a door. The interlock switch 5 is a bidirectional contact type. The constantly open side terminal of the interlock switch 5 is connected to the load part 6. The common terminal and the constantly close contact of the interlock switch 5 are connected in parallel with the relay contact 10a. Upon opening the door, the control part 12 operates and the relay contact 10a is turned on through the constantly close side terminal and the common terminal of the interlock switch 5. An open monitor switch is not required.
