Abstract:
To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle which can inhibit an engine rotational speed from reaching an excessive rotational speed when controlling the engine rotational speed so that a differential rotational speed for engaging a meshing-type engagement mechanism is reached.SOLUTION: While a vehicle is stopped in a state of stopping combustion in an engine, when, in order to engage, from a state of engaging one engagement mechanism of a first engagement mechanism and a second engagement mechanism, the other engagement mechanism of the first engagement mechanism and the second engagement mechanism, it is requested to control the torque of a motor, and thereby to rotate the engine and control the differential rotational speed of the other engagement mechanism (affirmative determination in Step S3), the torque of the motor is continuously increased (Step S6), and the increased torque of the motor is reduced to a prescribed torque when the engine starts to rotate (Step S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
