When a shift ECU determines that the traveling of a vehicle is performed in a cold state based on an outdoor air temperature Ta and an oil temperature Toil (step S120-S140), the formation of a fifth gear and a sixth gear in which a clutch C1 having an cancel oil chamber 1c is released is inhibited among a plurality of gear positions of an automatic transmission 25 (step S160), and the higher the hydraulic oil temperature Toil is, the determination time tref is set longer (step S200), and thereby the inhibition time of the formation of the fifth gear and the sixth gear in which the clutch C1 is released is made longer.
