Abstract:

To provide a hybrid vehicle requiring no noise preventing member therein even when adopting a resin manifold and preventing noises during a sudden change in the flow rate of intake air.

This control device for a vehicle for controlling an internal combustion engine having the resin intake manifold keeps the flow rate of intake air in the intake manifold at a preset rate or lower when the required output of the internal combustion engine is changed with an increase in throttle opening, e.g. The lack of driving force produced by limiting the flow rate of the intake air is covered by another motive power. In the hybrid vehicle, a motor can be used as the motive power. Thus, the flow rate of the intake air in the intake manifold is kept at the preset rate or lower all times, preventing noises generated in the intake manifold resulting from the sudden change in the flow rate of the intake air. Since the noises can be prevented by controlling the flow rate of the intake air, no noise preventing member in the intake manifold is required and a cost increase is prevented.
