PURPOSE: To prevent troubles such as occurrence of bad package by stopping operation of ending device when an overhead blower reaches a spinning unit row and working the ending device when the overhead blower becomes more distant.

CONSTITUTION: When one of sensors 8 and 9 set at both ends of an operation zone of an ending device 4 detects that an overhead blower 7 reaches a spinning unit row 5, ending action by the ending device 4 is stopped to prevent blowing off of fibers and occurrence of bad package, etc. When separation of the overhead blower from the spinning unit row is detected, driving of ending device is restarted.
