Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a controller capable of rapidly controlling dewatering operation by rapidly perceiving trouble, such as a defective flocculation state, of a solid-liquid separation system using a screw press hydroextractor.
SOLUTION: The control method and controller for the solid-liquid separation system are a solid-liquid separation system of adding and mixing a flocculating agent to and with a suspension to be subjected to a dewatering treatment and dewatering the suspension by the screw press hydroextractor, in which the system has, as at least one requirement, and at least one means of discriminating the case the amount of the dewatered filtrate discharged from an outer cylindrical filter body in a prescribed position of 1/8 to 3/4 of the overall length in the longitudinal direction from the terminal of a sludge feeding side toward a cake discharge side with respect to the outer cylindrical filter body existing on the outer side of a screw shaft attains a prescribed value or below as the defective flocculation state and transmitting this defective flocculation state to the outside is provided.
