Abstract:
PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten this motor, by low controllng the temperature rise of stator winding wherein the number of poles in the case when this induction motor is braked in formed in number not less than threefold as many as the number of poles in case of power travelling. CONSTITUTION:Since a magnetic field of a stator may simply make up a N pole and a S pole when using a dynamic brake, the stator winding of each phase is divided, each terminal of the whinding is changed over at the outsides. That is, winding terminals X1 and U2, Y1 and V2, and Z1 and W2 are each connected and X2-Y2-Z2 are combined in order to build up normal star connection when power travelling. Meanwhile, when braking this motor, X1 and U2, Y1 and V2, Z1 and W2, X2 and V1, and Y2 and W1 are united in order to connect the coils of each phase in series. The number of poles in case of braking becomes theefold as many as the number of polses in case of power traveling by the external connection.
