When an abnormality is generated in a burner which is being displayed, a burner position display means 14 and a burner state display means 15 are switched to the display of the position of the relevant burner and the contents of the abnormality by a display switching means 19. Thus, the abnormality of the burner used on a gas cooking appliance 1 can be instantaneously recognized and the position of the abnormal burner and the contents of the abnormality can be easily and properly recognized.
