PURPOSE: To completely and surely prevent the overspeed of a rotor by detecting the kind code of a rotor and the actual revolving speed with respective sensors, driving and controlling plural breakers when the detected kind code is unjust or the actual revolving speed exceeds an allowable revolving speed.
CONSTITUTION: First and second breakers 10 and 17 are attached in series to a rotational energy feed line to intercept the rotational energy to be supplied to the motor 2 of a rotor 1 from a motor driver 3. The motor driver 3 is controlled in a first processor 8 based on the detection signal of a first sensor 5, and a breaking signal is outputted to the first breaker 10 when the detection signal is unjust or the actual revolving speed of the rotor 1 exceeds the allowable revolving speed. Meanwhile, a breaking signal is outputted to the second breaker in a second processor 16 based on the detection signal of a second sensor 15 when the detection signal is unjust or the actual revolving speed of the rotor 1 exceeds the allowable revolving speed.
