PURPOSE: To improve the driving force of a vehicle in start by providing a pneumatic spring for regulating the ground contact pressure of a drive shaft, detecting a change in an axial load with a level sensor and controlling the operation of the pneumatic spring.
CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft of two rear shafts is equipped with a start aiding deice 500 using a pneumatic spring 505 to increase the ground contact pressure of the drive shaft 200 in the start or the like of a vehicle and increase the traction in the start. When an empty vehicle is stopped, a controller 800 supplied air to the pneumatic spring 505. When a loaded vehicle is stopped or has the speed exceeding the set vehicle speed, the air in the pneumatic spring 505 is exhausted, leaving the remaining pressure, so that the pneumatic spring 505 can be prevented from being crushed.
