Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a washing machine which prevents the occurrence of out-of-step with a fluctuation in the load torque to a DC brushless motor.
SOLUTION: The phase shift quantity which is the shift between the phase of the sine-wave-like voltage generated when the sine-wave-like voltage of a prescribed set frequency is supplied to a motor 9 in starting spin-drying operation and the phase of a position signal detected by a Hall sensor 63 is detected and the waveform of the sine-wave-like voltage is shifted in a direction where the phase shift quantity is decreased according to the fluctuation in the phase shift quantity. The counter-electromotive force generated from a motor 9 by the phase shift is regenerated to an inverter circuit 57 side and when the DC voltage detected by an inverter input voltage detecting means 65 increases, the wavelength of the sine-wave-like voltage is shifted in the direction where the phase shift quantity is decreased.
