To provide a conveyed article posture control device capable of freely changing the posture of the conveyed article even in such a state that a clearance of the conveyed articles is narrow and at high speed conveyance and capable of quickly responding to a sorting direction in every conveyed article.

The posture control device for the conveyed article in which a plurality of individually controllable cells are arranged in a flat surface-like shape is provided with a belt drive means for rotating a belt laid between a pair of conveying rollers 6 on the respective cells 5; a shaking drive means for shaking/rotating the respective cells in a horizontal direction; and a sensor 9 for detecting the conveyed article at at least one of a front side or a rear side of the belt of the respective cells. The device is characterized in that the belt drive means and the shaking drive means are independently controllably constituted according to detection output of the sensor.
