Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a packaging process of cylindrical objects smooth by making adjustable a width of a conveyer for supporting the cylindrical object by means of increasing/decreasing the number of narrow cylindrical objects forming a wide cylindrical object.
CONSTITUTION: The invention relates to a conveyer for a cylindrical object packaging apparatus including a mount plate 30 for carrying cylindrical objects thereon between a pair of right and left parallel chains 7, 7' extended respectively rotatably on respective pairs of right and left chain pulleys 6, 6' and 5, 5'. While the pair of right and left chains 7, 7' are kept in parallel by a moving mechanism, their interval is designed to be adjustable to wide or narrow, wherein the plate 30 for the cylindrical objects is formed of inner and outer double plate members 29, 29' which are slidably overlaid, and distant ends of the respective plate members 29, 29' are respectively coupled to the pair of the chains 7, 7' to support a change in the interval between the chains 7, 7' so that a width of the plate 30 can be adjusted.
