Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of detecting means for detecting a pallet in a conveyor using a linear stepping motor.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of power supply circuits 9 individually energize a plurality of coils. A detecting sensor for detecting a pallet is provided at a pallet introducing unit of a conveyor line. When the pallet is detected by the sensor, a controller 10 outputs a conveying state of an entire pallet conveying line by a pulse number and a pulse train signal of its frequency. A power supply switching signal responsive to the pulse number and the frequency of the signal is applied to a full power supply circuit 9 by a serial/ parallel circuit 11. When the pallet is once conveyed to the line, a signal indicating the pallet position is then fed to convey the pallet under the control of the controller 11 without feeding back it to reduce the number of detectors.
