Abstract:
To provide a cooling system for a hybrid vehicle, in which the cooling performance of a power control device controlling a motor is ensured by suppressing freezing of condensed water in an intercooler.SOLUTION: A cooling system for a hybrid vehicle having an engine with a supercharger, a motor, and power control equipment for controlling the motor is provided. The cooling system comprises: an intercooler that cools intake air compressed by the supercharger with cooling water; a radiator that promotes heat dissipation of the cooling water; a circulation passage that circulates the cooling water through the radiator, the power control equipment, and the intercooler; a bypass passage that bypasses the intercooler; an adjustment mechanism that adjusts an intercooler flow volume and a bypass flow volume; and a control device including a determination unit and a flow volume control unit. The determination unit determines whether or not a condition for freezing of condensed water in the intercooler is satisfied, and the flow volume control unit controls the adjustment mechanism to reduce the intercooler flow volume more than the bypass flow volume in the case of affirmative determination and to increase the intercooler flow volume more than the bypass flow volume in the case of negative determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
