Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a copolymer which has an improved durability in cleaning while retaining good water- oil-repellent properties by incorporating fluoroalkyl groups, urea or urethane bonds, and functional groups selected from among carboxyl, carboxylic anhydride, epoxy, phosphate, alkoxysilane, and imino groups into the same.
SOLUTION: In addition to this copolymer (A), a compsn. comprising copolymer A and an acrylic copolymer (B) having no fluorine atom can be obtd. An antifouling treating agent contg. polymer A alone (a) (i) or a mixture (a) (ii) thereof with polymer B and a solvent (b) can also be obtd. Copolymer A has urethane or ureido bonds and is obtd. from a fluoroalkyl monomer (I), a monomer (II) having no fluorine atom, at least one urethane or ureido bond, and at least one carbon-carbon double bond, and another functional monomer (III).
