In a cord winding device where a reel 3 is rotatably mounted in a case 1 while energized in one direction, and the cord 6 is taken up on the reel in a state that the cord can be led out to the outside of the case from the cord leading-out port, the cord leading-out port is formed on the case 1 in a state that the cord 6 can be led out approximately in parallel to the reel face, and further the card can be bent by a curved body 10 mounted near the leading-out port to be led out approximately vertically to the reel face.
