Abstract:
PURPOSE: To heighten the snow melting effect of a road surface snow melting device with a gas engine heat pump adopted thereto and improve the heat efficiency of the heat pump itself.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water storage tank 60 is partitioned into three stage hot water storage chambers: a high temperature chamber 62, a medium temperature chamber 64 and a low temperature chamber 66, and these chambers are communicated in such a way that hot water flows from the high temperature chamber 62 to the low temperature chamber 66 via a longest possible passage. High temperature water is let flow into the high temperature chamber 62 from a heat pump 50, and this high temperature water is fed to a snow melting pipe 70 from the high temperature chamber 62. Low temperature water from the snow melting pipe 70 is fed to the low temperature chamber 66, and this low temperature water is returned to the heat pump 50 from the low temperature chamber 66. With the formation of such a passage system, the hot water temperature in the high and low temperature chambers 60, 66 is substantially independent, so that a range of temperature difference between the high temperature water and low temperature water in the heat pump 50 can be made large, and heat efficiency is improved.
