Abstract:
To perform ironing without abruptly lowering base temperature even if clothing is wet or if steam is used in ironing.
An iron main body is placed on a table after it is removed therefrom. If the temperature of the base shows a downgrade, current carrying to a heater is started regardless of set temperature. Thus, even if clothing to be ironed is wet or if steam is used in ironing, the base is forcibly heated by the heater whereby a sudden drop in temperature of the base can be prevented.
