To provide an aqueous composition having high fluidity at room temperature to enable easy face packing, and easily increasing the viscosity by body heat of human, etc., to retain the product on the skin for a long time and get high moisturizing effect, an aqueous composition exhibiting high thixotropy and accordingly lightly spreadable with a finger to enable uniform packing even if the viscosity is increased with the body heat, and an aqueous composition easily washable with water after use.

There are provided an aqueous composition obtained by dissolving hydroxyethyl cellulose, methylcellulose and/or hypromellose, and a moisturizing component in water, and a pack cosmetic product.
