Abstract:
To provide an advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs)-degrading agent in new horny layers, which contains a plant extract as an active ingredient and is suitable for preventing or improving skin-aging phenomena such as the collapse of collagen fiber bundle structures, the formation of wrinkles, the formation of skin slacking, the formation of skin drabness, the deterioration of epidermal elasticity, the change of skin surface conditions, and the like.
The AGEs-degrading agent comprises a plant extract obtained from a plant belonging to genus Astragalus in Leguminosae, such as Astragalus sinicus.
