PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic containing cationized hyaluronic acid having high adsorptivity to a biological tissue and high permeability to an internal tissue, at the same time showing high compatibility with various ingredients compounding cosmetics including a solvent.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a cosmetic containing a small molecular weight of cationized hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof substituted by a quaternary nitrogen-containing group in which a part of hydroxy group is represented by following general formula <1>, wherein the molecular weight is 2000-15,000.
