Abstract:
One of tasks to be solved by the present invention is to provide a stable pigment composition, pigment dispersion solution, as a colorant for ink jet or a resist for color filter, in which organic pigment is micronized and highly concentrated, without causing aggregation, sedimentation or increase in viscosity over time. To this end, according to the present invention, a coumarin composition is represented by formula (1) in which each of R_1 and R_2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, each of R_3 to R_10 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group or a sulfo group, at least one of R_7 to R_10 is a sulfo group, X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a divalent linking group -NR_(11)-, and R_11 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
