Abstract:
To provide a crankshaft having a less bending quantity after quenching.
When simultaneously quenching journal portions J1-J5, pin portions P1-P4 and a fillet R portion which is a boundary between them and a crankshaft, in a side close to a crank arm axis X, the quenched depth on a side having big weight portions W1, W4, W5, W8 is made deeper than that on a side having no weight portion or small weight portions W2, W3, W6, W7.
