Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler crane which can conduct a foundation piling construction method without using a leader, facilitate large-diameter excavation work, ensure a wide crane working range, and conduct safe work.
SOLUTION: At a crane machine 13 which can swivel horizontally, scaffolding 15 for installing a whole-circumference rotation drive device for excavation 14 on its top end is fitted so as to be overhung in the horizontal direction from the crane machine. The scaffolding consists of a stationary scaffolding frame fitted on the crane machine 13 and a movable scaffolding frame 18 which is connected to the stationary scaffolding frame extensibly and whose extension/ contraction is driven in the horizontal direction by an extension/contraction drive means, and is held by scaffolding holding wire 21 suspended from a crane boom 19.
