Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a die-forging method which can form a scroll parts having a thin spiral-state scroll blade in one process from a simple shaped blank while making the scroll blade the uniform growth without applying the back pressure, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Surface roughness on the side surface of a blade forming impression part Is in a die 1 for forming the scroll blade 11 of the scroll parts 10 is made to fine at the position forming the blade in the central part which is slow growing speed at the time of forming the scroll blade 11 and reversely, made to coarse at the position forming the blade in the outer peripheral part which is quick growing speed, to execute the die-forging. By this method, the surface resistance at the impression part in the central part which is slow growing speed, is lowered to promote the growth of the blade and on the other hand, the growth of the blade in the outer peripheral part which is quick growing speed, is restrained and the growth of the scroll blade at the time of forming can be uniformized.
