PURPOSE: To obtain a readily producible crepe woven fabric having uniform crepes by weaving a twisted yarn of a polyester thick and thin conjugated fiber containing a modified polyester arranged in a sheath part and an unmodified polyester arranged in a core part and carrying out the relaxing treatment.
CONSTITUTION: This crepe woven fabric, especially a hard twist woven fabric, is obtained by twisting a polyester thick and thin conjugated fiber having thick and thin parts in the fiber axis direction in the fiber containing a modified polyester arranged in a sheath part and an unmodified polyester arranged in a core part, carrying out the twist setting, weaving the resultant fiber and performing the relaxing treatment, and has crepes developed by the relaxing treatment of the twisted polyester thick and thin conjugated fiber. Thereby, weaving is readily carried out and unevenness of crepes, irregular widths, crepe bars, bursts, etc., are not caused even in post-processing steps for creping.
