PURPOSE: To offer the crossbar type transfer press which can execute press forming of such a complicated formed part as a fender panel, etc., of a vehicle by a tandem system as well.
CONSTITUTION: A base plate 10 is attached to a crossbar 4 so as to be freely attachable and detachable, a driving cylinder 13 is attached onto this base plate 10, and a moving block 15 is detained to a piston rod 14 of the driving sylinder concerned 13. On the other hand, a guide rail 12 provided along the longitudinal direction of the crossbar 4 is provided on the base plate 10, said moving block 15 is engaged to the guide rail 12, and a holding means 20 for holding a work 2 is attached to the moving block concerned 15. Therefore, when said driving cylinder 13 is operated, the moving block 15 is guided to the guide rail 12 and moves in the longitudinal direction of the crossbar 4, and the work 2 held by the holding means 20 moves in the longitudinal direction of the crossbar 4. Also, the work 2 is carried successively to the next press process by the movement of the crossbar 4.
