Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: stable crystal forms of compounds having (2S)-2-methylamino-N-hydroxy-N',2-dimethylpropanediamide as drug substances; and production methods of the crystal forms.SOLUTION: The solutions include B-type crystals of (2S)-2-[{4-[4-(1-aminocyclopropyl)buta-1,3-diyne-1-yl]benzoyl}(methyl)amino]-N-hydroxy-N',2-dimethylpropanediamide having the following physical properties: (d) in powder X-ray diffraction (Cu-Kα), peaks appear at 2θ=9.2 degrees, 14.5 degrees, 17.7 degrees, and 19.9 degrees; (e) the melting point (decomposition) is 166 to 171°C; and (f) in the infrared absorption spectrum, characteristic absorption bands are present at 1675 cm-1, 1623 cm-1, 1370 cm-1, 1032 cm-1, and 839 cm-1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
