Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal of PCA (protocatechuic acid) cation salt excellent in dissolubility and stable under a high humidity condition and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a crystal of a PCA (protocatechuic acid) cation salt in which the crystal of the PCA cation salt is deposited by dropping or adding an alcohol solution or a nitrile solution to a PCA alcohol solution in which a cation-containing compound is dissolved, or concentrating an aqueous solution of PCA in which the cation-containing compound is dissolved and the crystal of the PCA cation salt is collected from the solution or the aqueous solution. There is provided a crystal of nonhydrate or monohydrate of the PCA cation salt, in which the cation is Na, K, NHor Ca.SELECTED DRAWING: None
