Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of normalizing the culture of corneal endothelial cells.SOLUTION: A corneal endothelial cell culture normalizing agent which is a fibrosis inhibitor comprising a transforming growth factor(TGF)β signal inhibitor is provided. A culture medium for normalized culture of corneal endothelial cells comprising culture components of the culture normalizing agent and corneal endothelium is also provided. Furthermore, a method for culturing corneal endothelial cells normally encompassing the culture of corneal endothelial cells using the culture normalizing agent or the culture medium of the present invention is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
