To reduce effect of tissue motion on quality and precision of an ultrasonic image to enable correct peak display image forming.
A system is to improve display of the ultrasonic image of a tissue structure. An image frame for one set of N pieces of images is used to form a peak image display (135). The oldest image frame in image frames for one set N pieces is destroyed and the destroyed image frame is replaced with a new image frame to form multiplex peak image display. A newer image frame is added to the above one set image frame to form a newer image frame of N pieces one set. Using a new image frame of N pieces one set, another peak display image (135) is formed. When an amount of strain or blur undesired for a peak display image (135) exists caused by tissue movement, the number of image frames in an image frame of N pieces one set may be reduced.
