Abstract:
To form a scribe line of a vertical crack having a desired depth.
Grooves each having a predetermined shape are formed at a predetermined pitch in a ridge line of a blade occupying 1/4 or less or 3/4 or less of the whole circumference of the blade of a glass cutter wheel 6 having a blade formed on a disk-like wheel. It is possible to form the scribe line of the vertical crack having the predetermined depth on a fragile substrate by changing a ratio of the groove portion greatly contributing to the scribing performance to the whole circumference.
