Title:
CUTTING DEVICE OF CONSTITUENT MATERIAL OF TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0435930
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cut a constituent materials of a tire precisely, reliably and in a fixed size, by a method wherein cutting is performed under a state where a tensile force is applied to the constituent material of the tire by lifting the constituent material of the tire upper than a conveying surface of a conveyor by a material supporting surface of an anvil.

CONSTITUTION: An anvil 7 is prepared so that a waiting surface 34 becomes parallel with a conveying surface of a conveyor, positioned and fixed under a state where the anvil 7 does not come into contact with a constituent material 12 of a tire and a timing belt 11. Simultaneously with conveyance of a material a length is measured by a length counting sensor and when the conveyor 3 is stopped by conveying the constituent material 2 of the tire by a fixed length, tensile force is applied to the constituent material 2 of the tire by lifting up the constituent material 2 of the tire by a material supporting surface 24 by turning the anvil 7 rearward by 90 degrees by a rotary actuator 29. Then a driving lever 18 is turned by a rocking and driving cylinder 19, a material pressing finger 17 is lowered and the constituent material 2 of the tire is pressed against the material supporting surface 24 for fixing. Then a cutter 4 is lowered and inserted into a groove 35, the cutter 4 is slid in a widthwise direction of the material and the constituent material 2 of the tire to which the tensile force is applied is cut off.
