Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in cut quality even in a case where a book-bound sheet bundle is repeatedly cut more than one time.SOLUTION: A cutting device that cuts the top part, ground part and end part of a book-bound sheet bundle comprises: cutting means that is able to reciprocally cut the sheet bundle; variable means that changes the direction of the sheet bundle with respect to the cutting position of the cutting means; and control means that controls cutting order for the sheet bundle such that in a case where the top part and the ground part are cut by cutting operations carried out a plurality of number of times, the sheet bundle is cut from the rear part of the sheet bundle to the end part thereof during the respective cutting operations for the top part and the ground part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
