PURPOSE: To produce the granulated material of granules by a simple mechanism by introducing the kneaded material into the inside of a cylinder bored with punching holes and extruding it on a chute through the punching holes by an extrusion blade and cooling it by ventilation and thereafter cutting it by a cutter.
CONSTITUTION: When the kneaded material (a) is introduced into the inside of a cylinder 1 and an extrusion blade 3 is rotated, the granulated material (b) formed into a noodle shape by punching holes 2 is extruded and falls on a chute 4. In this case, the granulated material (b) is heated at about 60°C by frictional heat at a time of extrusion and stickiness is made higher. Then, air is blown against the granulated material (b) through the ventilation holes 8 bored to the chute 4 to cool it. Thereby the granulated material (b) is cooled and stickiness is lowered, and the noodlelike granulated material (b) lowered in stickiness becomes a state wherein it is easily broken by force like manual pressure. Then, when a link is rocked and a cutter 9 is moved to the outside of the lower end of the chute 4, the noodlelike granulated material (b) is cut and the granulated material of granules is produced. Further, the shape of the granulated material is changed by changing the shape of the punching holes 2.
