Abstract:
To provide a cutting plate to reduce tendency to form material collection in a cutting process.
The cutting plate 5 is provided with a base element, and the base element has at least one cutting face 25. The cutting face is adjacent to corner cutting edges 32, 33, 34, 35 in one side, and adjacent to a stepped portion 24 in the other side. The stepped portion incessantly extends along at least one of the plurality of the cutting edges, and separates the cutting face from a pedestal surface 22. The stepped portion has the maximum height at the corner cutting edge.
