To provide a new heavy-draft rolling mechanism, concerning reinforcement of an annular range in a metallic machining piece receiving a fillet of a crank shaft and another high stress load and finishing.
The upper machining tool 20 composed of two part pieces includes first and second body members 22, 24 having mirror symmetry. The body members 22, 24 have a plurality of through holes 28. One 22 of both body members has a plurality of long and narrow slots 26 shaped in circle at one end. The other body member 24 has a plurality of fastening tools, a columnar member, and a dowel 30. These extend from a surface of the body member 24, and engage with the long and narrow slot 26 of the opposite body member 22. The body members 22, 24 have a rectangular recessed part at one end, and a plurality of pockets or hollows in an inner surface portion. One of the pockets has a diameter for a backup roller over generally 360° except for an extremely small top portion.
