Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool with a coolant hole capable of stably supplying coolant toward a blade section by smoothing split flows from a trunk passage of the coolant to a branch passage.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1A with a coolant hole supplies coolant from a coolant hole 10 formed in a tool body 2 toward a blade section 3a. The coolant hole 10 includes a bottomed hole-shaped trunk passage 11 extending along an axis O direction of the tool body 2 and a plurality of branch passages 15 which are opened in the blade section 3a and are communicated with the trunk passage 11. The branch passages 15 are opened on at least a bottom surface 13 in the trunk passage 11.
