Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip replaceable face milling cutter which can be safely and stably gripped by an operator.SOLUTION: A tip replaceable face milling cutter 1 including a tool body 2 which is a disk-like shape and rotated around an axis O, and plural cutting inserts 30 which are detachably provided on a tip outer peripheral part 10 of the tool body 2 and around the axis O with intervals therebetween. A base end outer peripheral part 20 of the tool body 2 is provided with a slip resistant holding part 21 having at least one of a convex strip which projects in a radial direction orthogonal to the axis O and extends in a circumferential direction around the axis O, and a concave groove which is concaved in the radial direction and extends in the circumferential direction.
