To provide a cyclone type powder recovering apparatus having such a structure that the resistance when clean air of a rising whirling flow passes through a screen is made small even if a mesh of the screen is made small and dust or powder paint on the screen is hardly involved in the clean air of the rising whirling flow and to improve the efficiency when excessively sprayed powder is recovered.
A cavity 8 is formed in the central part of the screen 6 arranged in a cone part 1b of a cyclone cylinder 1 for selecting the recovered powder finely so that the resistance when the clean air of the rising whirling flow passes through the screen 6 is made small even if the mesh of the screen 6 is made small. A damming wall surrounding the central part of the upper surface of the screen 6 through which the clean air of the rising whirling flow passes is arranged so that the dust or powder paint on the screen 6 is not involved in the clean air of the rising whirling flow.
