Title:
CYCLOOLEFIN-BASED POLYMER, CATALYST FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND USAGE OF THE SAME CATALYST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3334106
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cycloolefin-based polymer having a large viscosity number and a high glass transition temperature, and useful for the extrusion molding of film, or the like, by copolymerizing a polycyclic olefin and an acyclic olefin under a specific condition.
SOLUTION: This polymer is obtained by copolymerizing (A) 0-100 wt.% monomer of formula I (wherein, R1-R4 are each H or the like), (B) 0-99.9 wt.% cycloolefin of formula II [wherein, (n) is 2-10] and (C) 0-99.9 wt.% acyclic 1- olefin of formula III (wherein, R9-R12 are each H or the like) in a state of solution, or the like, at -78°C to 150°C and 0.5-64 bar in the presence of a catalyst comprising a metallocene of formula IV (wherein, M1 is Ti or the like; R14 and R15 are each H or the like; R16 and R17 are each a mononuclear hydrocarbon capable of forming a sandwich structure by combining with M1; R18 is Ge or the like) and an aluminoxane of formula V [wherein, R is a 1-6C alkyl or the like; (n) is 2-50] or the like.
