Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet tile placement technique capable of placing tiles at the outside angles of the outer wall of a building at a low cost while keeping the quality as required.
SOLUTION: A wet tile placement technique comprises the steps of assembling a formwork for the outer wall of a building, of arranging chamfering spacers with cross sections in an isosceles right triangle shape at the outside angles or the corners inside the formwork, the oblique lines of the chamfering spacers being selected to be substantially equal to the widths of tiles placed at the outside angles or the corners, of placing concrete into the formwork, of removing the formwork after hardening the concrete, of applying adhesive mortar to the concrete walls, of placing tiles on the adhesive mortar, of applying joint mortar on the surfaces of the tiles to be entered into joints, and of mopping extra joint mortar left on the surfaces of the tiles.
