Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cylinder block structure for achieving the linearity of a transmitting passage of a combustive explosion force to prevent the cylinder block from deformation and reduce noises.
CONSTITUTION: This structure is provided with a plurality of head bold boss parts 8a-8f disposed on the upper part of a cylinder block 1 to surround respective bore 7 parts, bearing cap bolts 9 screwed vertically into the lower part of the cylinder block and explosion force transmitting members 11, 12, 13 and 17 provided to linearly bind these head bolt boss parts 8a-8f and bearing cap bolts 9 with each other.
